Keep it simple.
- Alfred Eisenstaedt

At the age of 12 my father bought me my first real camera, a Minolta 35mm, and encouraged me to develop my natural ability, the photographer’s eye. From that point I turned this ability into a medium to channel my creative side.  Since then I have learned from experience, trial-and-many-errors, and helpful advice from countless other people.

In the beginning my photographs were merely snaps, raw and unfocused, but with the help of a friend I learned to see and understand how to create an image. I was helped to find beauty in the simplest of things. I find that black and white photography compliments this well. I like quite stark, minimalist images, you can see that the focus of my work is architectural photography, landscape and still life.

Gradually I became more and more capable, experimenting with my equipment, and with the encouragement from those I trusted most I held my first showing in 2005 called “Europa”.   Since then I have been very fortunate to have my photography shown in various locations in Toronto.
